About the company
An established apparel buying house in Dhaka.
TSJ Sourcing Ltd has been sourcing apparel from Bangladesh since 2011. We act as the sourcing office for international brands and retailers, managing product development, factory allocation, quality assurance and shipment.
Background
How the company was built.
TSJ Sourcing Ltd was established in 2011 in Mirpur, Dhaka, by a small team of working merchandisers. The company was founded on the view that most sourcing failures originate in communication: a specification is interpreted differently by the factory, and the discrepancy is not identified until the shipment sample is produced.
The company was structured to address this directly. Each order is assigned a named merchandiser who retains responsibility from costing through to shipment, rather than passing between departments. Every stage produces a written deliverable, and a written progress report is issued regularly.
The company now works with more than twenty audited partner factories across Dhaka, Gazipur, Narayanganj and Chattogram, supplying knitwear, woven, sweater, denim and uniform programmes to buyers in the United States, United Kingdom, European Union and Australia.
Official BGBA member
TSJ Sourcing Ltd is a registered member of the Bangladesh Garment Buying House Association, the apex trade organisation for buying houses in the Bangladesh RMG sector, approved by the Directorate of Trade Organizations under the Ministry of Commerce.
Membership means we operate under the association’s code of business conduct and are accountable to an industry body, not only to ourselves.
Registered & documented
A private limited company incorporated in Bangladesh, holding a valid trade licence, TIN, BIN/VAT registration, ERC/IRC and bonded export documentation.
Full registration documents are shared with buyers during account opening.
Our role
Local management, international reporting standards.
Most buyers are separated from their production by considerable distance, several time zones and a language barrier. Our function is to manage that gap on your behalf, with reporting in the format and frequency you require.
Vision, mission & values
Our vision, mission and operating values.
Our vision
To be recognised among the most dependable garments buying houses in Bangladesh, measured by delivery performance, quality consistency and the standard of the factories we work with.
Our mission
To provide every buyer, from an emerging label to a national retailer, with published standards, transparent costing, audited and safe factories, and delivery dates that can be relied upon for range planning.
Early notification
Issues are reported as soon as they are identified, while there is still time to adjust the plan rather than lose the delivery.
Transparent costing
The factory price and our commission are shown as separate lines, with no undisclosed margin within the FOB price.
Responsible sourcing
We do not pursue prices that can only be achieved through unpaid overtime or substandard premises, which represent a commercial and reputational risk to the buyer.
Written records
Approvals, comments and specification changes are confirmed in writing and retained for the duration of the order.
Capacity & network
Partner factory network and capacity.
We own no factories, so each order goes to the unit best suited to its category, quality level and volume.

Why Bangladesh
Why source from Bangladesh.
Bangladesh is the world’s second-largest apparel exporter: real scale, a vertically integrated knit base and competitive costs. Since the safety programmes introduced after 2013 it is also among the most heavily inspected manufacturing bases anywhere. What a local buying house adds is current knowledge of which factories are actually performing.
